Method for counting characters or words in a document

An approximate cost calculation using a calculator is performed according to the source document;
If the source document is in Russian or English, then the number of words in the source document is used to calculate the cost of the translation.
If the source document is in Chinese, the number of characters (no spaces) in the source document is used to calculate the cost of the translation.
Method of counting characters: the calculation is performed using computer statistics [Microsoft Word – Tools – Reviewing – Word Count – Number of words / Number of characters (no spaces)], for non-editable content of documents, the number of characters is calculated manually by the Contractor.
